Listen, sometimes you just need to put on a pink fairy dress and lay in a bed of flowers, ok? A girl after my own heart! She and I are on the same wavelength. It was her birthday, and mom wanted to do something fun to celebrate her as well as document who she is at this age. I love this so much! You can tell by these photos that she is sweet and just a little sassy (in the best way) and fun loving. Her personality just oozes through. Mom will enjoy these for years and years, and I can just see mom showing her grandkids these super cute photos of their mom. “That’s mom?” the kids will say. And then grandma will tell them all about what their mom was like at this age. My heart just melts at the thought that these can be passed down from generation to generation.
I think we all should remember to celebrate ourselves and the ones we love in portraits. Because the age of six is fleeting, it goes by in a millisecond, but these photos last forever!
