People often think that family photos are just for young families with little kids. Every once in awhile, however, I get a call from some grown-up kids who want to gift portraits to their parents. I absolutely love when this happens, because it gives me all the warm and fuzzy feelings about being a parent. Because a mom is still a mom, no matter what age you are, and how grown up those babies are.

We met for this elegant, classy take on family photos at Central Park’s Conservatory Garden, which may be my favorite place in Central Park. This is a Manhattan family and they had never been to that part of the park. I love it because of the tree tunnel, and the many many blooming flowers and tress, and the wisteria pergola.  It really is gorgeous and provides many ideal spots for sweet family photos.

I have no doubt that mom is going to love these for years to come, and props to her awesome kids for setting these up!
