Here in New York, we have our pick of beautiful and picturesque locations. Gorgeous parks, the cityscape, of course the infamous Brooklyn Bridge. I spend much of my time scouting locations for my clients, because I like to be able to choose from them based on their outfits, what they want from their session, and their personal style. But I also have my studio available, which is great for shoots like these: modern, clean, and stylish family portraits that really accent the faces in them.
The simplicity of the white sofa against the dark backdrop was exactly what I was going for, and it came out how I had envisioned. This family of five is warm, loving, and really happy. The parents dote on their sweet kiddos, and they are all extremely close. I love the shot of the sisters in an embrace.
