It’s a big deal when the first born is about to become a big brother. That is why these sweet family photos with a new baby bump are so special. It’s celebrating both big brother and new baby that is about to join the family. The photos are also celebrating motherhood and being pregnant. It’s such a special time in a women’s life.
Big Change
This is definitely an ensemble cast. There are so many stars in this session. Big brother takes the cake of course. He is so adorable and charming. We had a great time together. Hempstead Lake State Park is great because it’s big with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. We basically went on a little nature walk chasing the sunlight peaking through the trees.
Even thought the trees had not started to bud and the color green was still hard to find, it was a beautiful day. For me, any chance to spend some time in nature is good for my soul. Add spending time with the sweetest family and creating some art all at the same time, and I am in my happy place.
Togetherness
This family was also in their happy place because they were together. Spending time together is the natural state of a young family. It’s such a joy to be apart of documenting that time of life. And everything is about to change when new baby gets here. Those last moments of just the three of them are fleeting and now they have gorgeous images to remind them of this special time.
