I never could have imagined how much I would love studio headshot sessions. Now, I LOVE me a pretty backdrop and being right on location. It gives portraits such an easy way about them, but there is something so stunning about a simple and straightforward studio portrait.

The nomenclature of headshot really doesn’t do these portraits justice.  The purpose they serve is a headshot but the outcome is a powerful portrait that makes you really stop and think about the subject.  It’s what I like to call the Mona Lisa effect.  What is her story, what is she thinking, I wonder….I especially love the way that it brings out her eyes.

What is important is that she has imagery that reflects a little of her glowing inside along with her stunning outside.  Best wishes to you in your next adventure!
