Kids these days are somethin’ else. I mean, they are freaking amazing. The love of dedication that this generation has is truly above and beyond. When they find something they love, they give their whole selves to it. I see this often in clients who play soccer, Lacrosse, or piano, or who are pursuing their dreams of acting or academics. In this young lady’s case, it’s dance. It’s her passion and her dream, and she is working so hard to reach her goals.
They spend hours after school working on getting better at the thing they love most. When I was that age, I was hanging out with friends and probably up to no good. I am way impressed. Kids may not have to work hard in the way that I did as a kid, working a minimum wage job to pay for my car insurance and concerts, but they work hard and show dedication to be better. I can get behind that.
Oh, and they are freaking cuties too. Can’t remember the last time I saw an awkward teenager!
