Well, after months and months of elastic waist pants, old tee-shirts and bedroom slippers, I think we are all ready to get dressed up and feel a little glamorous, right? There is not a better occasion to celebrate with family than a bat mitzvah, and this family has been anticipating this day for many months. Their beautiful daughter is getting ready to celebrate this important milestone, and so we got together for natural, breezy family portraits.

I am SUPER grateful to this gorgeous family, because we had planned on one location, and when we arrived, it was at full capacity! We couldn’t get in, and this wonderful crew just rolled with the punches! COVID still throws me for a loop sometimes, with all the new regulations and rules, but we made the best of it! The stunning Bailey Arboretum was close by and it was perfect!  So pretty, so serene, and the perfect location for this family.

They dressed in blues and whites, and the greenery around them made for the perfect color palette. The Bailey Arboretum has 42 stunning acres to explore, and has such peaceful trails and walking areas. I wish I could have stayed there for more than just our session…it felt like home!
