Those native to our area know the charm of Gerry Park. It is filled with gorgeous, established trees with huge branches, and even a duck pond. So, there isn’t much better of a place to do family photos for an active, loving family like this one. I have been lucky enough to photograph this trio several years in a row, and I admire their commitment to making sure that they have photos done annually. One of my favorite parts of having “legacy families” who come to me year after year, is getting to see little ones like this girl grow up and change in the very best of ways.
We clamored over rocks together, watched the ducks, and found the prettiest falling leaves. I applaud all the parents who make a priority of family photos, but even if you haven’t been doing them for years and years, it’s never too late to start being consistent. Many families don’t have many sessions between their wedding photos and their children’s high school graduations…and they often look back and wonder why they didn’t make it happen.
