I have the best job, you guys. I truly do. If you’ve been following my work for any length of time, you’ll surely recognize this precious mama and daughter. I’ve been photographing them for five years, and their shoots are always some of my favorites, because they are so full of love and laughter. Much to my delight, I had the pleasure of following them right into a new chapter and special season of life, and watch their family grow. This beach wedding was a total privilege to document…it had hints of bohemian inspiration with touches of bright color (and plenty of joy). The happiness was palpable, and all those laughs and smiles you see were anything but posed. How cute are those cheery gerbera daisies by AT&T Garden Center against that beach backdrop?
The weather really played with our emotions, and was threatening rain all day. The sweet bride went back and forth all day, with whether or not to move everything indoors. At the last minute, she decided that her desire and dream for a beach wedding was exactly what she wanted, so the beach it was! That was absolutely the right call! Yes, it may have sprinkled with a few raindrops, but it made everything even more romantic and special, and you know, it’s real life! After a touching ceremony on the beach at the edge of the water, we moved on to the very hip, writing-themed restaurant Beginnings. This place had that modern industrial look and an intimate, yet hipster vibe. I am looking forward to going there for dinner one night, now that I got a small taste of how fun it was. This was a special one for me, and I may have shed a few tears myself. I am so lucky to have been a small part of this love-fest and my heart warms remembering how the couple beamed that day.
Congratulations to this beautiful family.
