Call it the calm before the store. That’s what this natural and breezy sunset maternity photos on the beach session felt like.
Mom wanted to document this moment as it is before their lives change forever. We chose Ocean Beach Club because they spend lots of time together and with family there. Luckily, the weather was perfectly balmy and breezy. Then, when the sun set, so many beautiful colors popped in the sky.
As we were hanging out on the beach, I started thinking about how life is about to be turned upside down. No matter how calm and relaxed new parents are, there is no escaping that feeling of what the hell did I get myself into once baby arrives.
But in this moment, mom and dad simply take the time to enjoy each other. Cuddling and sweet moments are essential. The photos are gorgeous and well be perfect memories of this time they had together as a twosome. The last time it will be about just the two of them for at least two decades, if ever again.
