Turning 40 is something a lot of people joke about. They call it going “over the hill”, and act like it is something terrible. But this gorgeous lady wanted to turn it into a POSITIVE, and show off some serious self-love. This amazing lady is hitting that big 4-0 milestone, and she is thrilled!
This was such a fabulous way to show a time in our lives that can be a real turning point. You may think you are going to lose your youth when you turn 40, but what you don’t realize is that you are gaining more! 40 brings with it an awareness of how life brings loss, rejection, and hardships of all kinds, and how resilient you really are. You also become reminded of the love, accomplishments, and self-appreciation that comes with all of those things. Those years are special, and they’re behind you…it’s only made you stronger!
So, if you have a big birthday coming up, I implore you to celebrate it and mark it as something special. Because you are exactly that; something truly special.
