I’m a pretty big fan of choosing locations that I love, and that my clients will love, too! When I am not shooting, I am always keeping my eye out for beautiful spots that might be just right for one family or another. But, I may just have met my new location scouts: this incredible family! They always pick the coolest spots in the city for their family sessions, and this year was no exception. I had suggested Central Park, and they chose the Conservatory Gardens at the northeast part of the park. It was truly breathtaking, and was the perfect place to explore and play. Their wonderful kids had the freedom to run and check out all the little nooks and crannies. The location was amazing, but their outfits were just as perfect! Mom mixed up the colors and textures, with a gorgeous silky blouse, and a little velvet blazer…the whole family looked like a magazine ad. I always encourage families to wear things they love, because the confidence shows in the portraits!
I let them take the lead and they did not lead me astray. These photos are everything!
