I’ve shared a few First Communion sessions here on the blog, but each one is just as special as the last for me. The day can actually be stressful for some families because of both the hustle and bustle of the occasion, and the amount of family and friends that often want to join in the festivities. That’s why it’s really important to hire a professional photographer, because it makes sure that you won’t miss a single moment of such a special day. You can simply sit back and relax and visit with your family and friends.

A professional photographers will also make sure that everything is perfect the day of, and help spot things like smudges on shoes, or awkward poses and make sure they are all fixed before the shoot starts. I have a great eye for the things that might stick out like a sore thumb, and it means my clients trust me to capture the day the way they remember it. Around our area, first communions are very important, and that’s great news for me, because I get to do these amazing photos with little ones dressed to the nines! And, it always coincides with springtime, so St. Anthony’s is all green and blooming and makes the prefect spot for these special photos.

Not only is it a great time to do portraits, but it’s also wonderful to get a few of the whole family if you’re all dressed up. Please let me know when you book, whether we will be doing portraits of the special lady or gentleman alone, or with their family also. I am happy to do either one, you will just need to let us know beforehand!
