Every headshot session with me is a bit different. Although I use similar lighting and posing, I know everyone has their own personality, and needs something different. Some modeling and acting shots must be black and white, or have solid backgrounds, so I always work with that as well. It is a challenge to meet the requirements of a headshot, while still giving an accurate representation of the subject and the person they are. I like every headshot to have a little “punch”, a statement about the amazing young person in it!
If you are considering a headshot session with me, please know they are short and sweet, but each one has a variety so parents (or the teen) can choose from what they need with confidence. That confidence is key when you are submitting an image for an acting job or modeling gig. I also photograph many young people for dance competitions and contests. As you can see below, this beautiful young lady has both close up options, as well as fun, youthful poses. I love the way they capture her expressions.
