When it comes to dressing for a special occasion, I always believe in this rule: there really aren’t any rules! Ha! I love nothing more than seeing families and their children dressing in elegant, fun choices that make them look and feel incredible. After all, what’s a celebration without a fabulous dress, particularly one with sparkles? A Bat Mitzvah is an extra-special occasion that usually has everyone in the family dressed to the nines, but this family was DOUBLY blessed…yes, they had twins celebrating their Bat Mitzvah’s together. Not only are they twins, but they are clearly the best of friends, and the sweetest pair of sisters imaginable.
I loved their dreamy tulle dresses, which were both age appropriate and pretty. They were perfect! We were so lucky to have beautiful weather and even some natural light at our location, Congregation Shaaray Shalom in West Hempstead . All of this allowed us to get all the must-needed family group photos outside. I have no doubt that the family will love these photos for years to come, along with the huge array of candids from the party. Debra and Samantha are two delightful young women, and I know their parents are incredibly proud of their polite, smart, and kind girls. This was such a special milestone, and I feel grateful to have been a part of it!
