Today, I’m sharing another communion portrait session with you. Whereas last week’s session was pretty sentimental and more emotional, this session took place on a sunny day and is bright and cheery. I love planning each session around the client and their chosen wardrobe/dress and what they desire. This darling little girl was just as cheerful and sweet as she was beautiful. I loved her full, traditional dress.
A first communion is an amazing time to also garner new family portraits. It’s a great time because everyone is already dressed up and their hair is done, so what could be easier? Especially for you moms, who may feel overwhelmed by coordinating outfits and ideas…this is such an ideal situation! It’s a special thrill for me as a photographer, to know that these images will be looked back on for years to come, and probably even shared with children and grandchildren. I don’t take my job lightly, and consider it such an honor!
