A family who plays together is a beautiful thing. Laughter and joy bring a family together like nothing else, and it’s always amazing to capture it in photographs. I met up with this amazing little tribe at the Hempstead Lake State Park, where we were greeted with the perfect weather! When a family is willing to laugh and play during their session, I always get excited because I know the photos that will result will be full of authentic connection and joy. My ultimate purpose as a photographer, whether for a teen, child, or adult, is to provide beautiful images that show community and connection. These are the things that last!
This clan (comprised of mom, dad, two little boys and a little girl) really came through with the playfulness and every single one of them let their personality shine through. Each of their children have the most gorgeous, wide-eyed features, and they were so loving to their siblings. These portraits make my heart so full…you can really feel the love and smiles.
