Nothing makes me happier than people who understand the importance of great photographs that capture you and your life at any moment…there is no need to wait for the “perfect occasion” to do a beautiful session. In fact, if you are waiting around for a perfect time, day, or season, you may never book your shoot! Life is meant to be celebrated, both in the everyday and the extraordinary.
We are very lucky here in New York with many fabulous locations that make a killer backdrop. We are particularly blessed when it comes to bridges. This couple wanted special portraits featuring their beloved fur baby, though I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t approve of that term, and they chose the Queensborough bridge, a.k.a. the 59th street bridge (you know? from the Simon and Garfunkel song) as the perfect location. I love photographing couples because they each have a rapport all their own; their own inside jokes and secret smiles. It makes my heart incredibly happy to get to do portraits of people who are so in love! Add in their sweetheart of a puppy dog in the mix, and a fun session was had by all.
