You probably feel a little self-conscious in front of a camera.  That is pretty common.  In fact, it’s rare that someone comes into the studio that loves the camera and is at total ease.  Even the really beautiful people!

And as a side note, I would say that most people don’t realize how good looking they really are. But that’s another blog post entirely!

As a photographer, one of my super powers is to make people feel really at ease.  This is of the utmost importance because if someone is uncomfortable in front of the camera, it comes through loud and clear in the images.  I keep things light and easy and super simple.  Once of the things that clients have mentioned is that the way I take them through all the different poses and give lots of little direction makes them feel like they can do it; which they obviously can. This gorgeous woman below is proof that my techniques work 🙂

I give very specific directions, I use several different posing tools, stool, chair, etc. As we go along, I make sure they know they are doing a great job.  We both move quickly and keep it light and fun.  All of this together makes an easy fun experience and most importantly, provides images where you look comfortable and confident.
