Here’s a secret: I don’t chase after wedding jobs. That’s honestly been the thing that’s served me well, because the brides and grooms that do find me are special and unique and they’ve crossed my path on purpose.
And this cool couple is exactly that. First of all, they looked amazing Have I ever told you how easy it is to spot my clients at our meeting place even though I’ve never met them in person? They are always the best dressed people in the vicinity!
Secondly, they were so friendly and you had this lovely glow about them. The good energy simply shined from the inside out. We had so much fun. They were up for anything and they were just so happy to be there that they were relaxed and happy. This comes through in the images fully.
I offer complimentary engagement sessions to my brides and groom for exactly this reason: it gives us an opportunity to meet, get to know each other and see how the other operates. I get a sense of how comfortable they are in front of the camera – very much so in his case – and they get a sense of how I work. It is one less thing to worry about on the big day.
So luckily, I will see this couple soon! I can’t wait to see her in her dress and I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he sees her in her for her first look.
