“Well, here I go/ ‘Cause right now, we’re back in her hometown/ And I’m down on one knee
I guess she finally figured out/ I’m gonna ask her to marry me/ I got some big, big plans
Build a little house out on some hand-me-down land/ Find a little island where we go to get tan
I bet we take our kids down there one day” -Chris Lane, Big Big Plans

This precious couple has some big, big plans.

And by big plans, I mean adventuring together as they join their lives as one!

They LOVE to travel and explore the world, and they are so excited to be crafting up dreams and plans for post-COVID travel as an engaged couple. My own wanderlust grew as they were telling me about their upcoming move, and the travel stop they will be making on the way. I tried to convince them that perhaps they needed a full-time photographer (hint, hint) to follow them along and document all these new memories, but alas, my job as a mom isn’t quite done!

I had to settle for documenting their engagement instead, which was almost as great as traipsing around the world. After our first location turned out to be under construction, we had a kind family member offer up her gorgeous private property. Viola! We had perfect sunlight, and tons of enviable greenery to be the backdrop.

Congratulations, Paula and Chris! I wish you nothing but the best as you begin your beautiful journey together. And, if you ever need that travel photographer, you know where to find me 🙂
