It was a long time coming, my friends!
I hadn’t gone that long without picking up my trusty camera since 2003!
Let me tell you just a few reasons why this portrait session was such a great occasion to get back to: So many kids missed out on sports, school, end of the year parties, activities, and so many things that spelled “normalcy” for them. It was a hard time (still ongoing for many people), that was filled with so many small and huge losses. This beautiful girl missed out on her dance season and that much-anticipated recital, like so many of her peers. She was really feeling the loss. But, because she had an amazing mom who wanted to do something special for her, we did this session to help her commemorate this time in her life and all her hard work.
It was really something special! She is so very talented, and she had tons of ideas for me as far as posing and inspiration! Her split leap was truly stunning, and every pointed toe and smile filled my heart with joy!
