I know the journey is different for everyone, but I truly loved being pregnant. I felt great when I was expecting, and enjoyed the little kicks and milestones that come with pregnancy. My kids are nearly grown these days, so I do get jealous when I see those beautiful baby bumps, but I know that stage is closed for me, so I get to relive it through my photography. I get very excited for the brand new, first time mamas-to-be, and I know how their lives are about to change in the best way. Things certainly will be turned upside down, but it will be amazing.
I love when they contact me to document their pregnancy with a beautiful session, and there is nothing better than the beach to get those dramatic silhouettes and shadows. It is all so fleeting, and making sure they have the memories to treasure makes it special for me! This sweet mommy can’t wait to meet their little one, and she had that “glow” for sure! I hope every time she looks at these, she remembers that stunning pink dress, the breeze at the beach, and the feelings of anticipation and wonder.
I am excited for her!
