Another one of my legacy families is on the blog today; a family that I have gotten the privilege to photograph for a few years now. Their sweet, beautiful little girl is always a little shy with me, but this year, I got a huge smile! I left this session so happy, because I knew we had reached a new place in our photographer/model relationship! I keep up with my little friends all year long on Facebook, and I adore when they decide to trust me. This family is so loving and genuine, and they filled our time with tons of laughter.
This location is a new one for me, and one I know I’ll be heading back to any day now. Roslyn Pond in Gerry Park (in Roslyn, New York) is the most gorgeous little spot with many great little backdrops for pretty pictures. There is a gazebo, stairs, trees, and of course, the picturesque pond, where we made a few new friends! I can’t wait to reconnect with this family again in 2017…seeing families through the years is what makes my job so memorable and rewarding.
