Isn’t this an age old story? Mom has been home with the kids for a good chunk of years. The kids are a little older, they are all in school, and mom decides it is time to step back into the working world. So exciting! It’s such a crazy situation we put ourselves in as moms. We give every last bit of ourselves to our families. We do it because it makes us happy to love on and take care of our kids, and that can be exhausting and all consuming. But there is still this whole other part of us. The part of us that had dreams and goals and desires of our own.
We have so much more to contribute, and damn, are we super women or what? We give everything, and then still have more. It seems impossible but I see it and feel it every day. Somehow we mold little people into wonderful productive successful members of society, all the while working out how to be the best versions of ourselves!
I mean guys, we are moms. We teach, we lead, we feed, we drive, we tutor, we counsel and then we go out into the world and sell houses, and run businesses, and create products, and we lawyer, and we doctor. The capabilities of women are beyond. You all impress me and I am super proud of you!
