One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to hear people’s stories. Being allowed to be in their home with them is an extra-special thing and a true gift. As you see this family of three and they are happy and full of love, you would never know that they have been through so much with their sweet little man. Thankful that all that is good now, and that the outcome is that everyone is healthy and that they are together as a family. They are so lovely and such doting parents. And little man is as sweet and adorable as can be. I with them so much happiness and peace after some trying years.
As a mom of older kids, I know that they have years and years of good times and memories stretched out ahead of them. I know that mom and dad are going to appreciate every second. And that is a beautiful gift. Because it’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day minutia, when we aren’t always able to be in the moment. Though I would never wish it on anyone ever, going through something hard and traumatic can give the gift of being appreciative of the life we have and being present in the moment. All I know is that I am so happy for this family and I sent them lots of love. And I thank them for sharing their story with me. I hope you enjoy this sweet little peek into their life:
