When I received this call, I was thrilled. A family wanted to get their whole clan together for a large family shoot, in honor of the patriarch’s 80th birthday. I couldn’t think of a more thoughtful gift, and was in awe of the time and dedication it took to pull this session off. All the adult children came from across the country, and settled in Long Island with the grandkids. Everyone was beaming with joy as we met on the beach capture this whole big family group! We grouped everyone together, and then also did other groupings of the family members so that Grandpa has plenty to create a book from, or display on his walls. With family living all across the country, it will mean so much that he will be able to see their faces every day!
The colors also looked so beautiful together, as they chose different hues that worked with the beach location. The pretty blues and even coral/pink tones worked together to echo the part of the beach we settled into, and of course, the best part was the smiles on everyone’s faces!
