If you’re a parent, you probably remember how much that baby changed your life. Your whole world turned upside down with the arrival or adoption of your first child, and you change all you priorities. Suddenly, everything you do is about and for that brand-new love of your life. Your world is turned upside down…but in the very best way. Amid diaper changes and bottles and nap times, you feel so happy and fulfilled, and for many families…along comes baby #2! It’s such a perfect occasion for family photos, because it’s a whole new season (and a whole new, busy ballgame).
As you can see below, mom and dad had already welcomed a beautiful older daughter, and now is sporting a gorgeous baby bump with number 2. They decided to do family photos for this special time in their lives, and remember the days when the three of them were awaiting this new family member. For this part of the session, the family chose Bryant Park for the location. It has sentimental value because that is where mom and dad had their wedding reception. We even recreated a photo from their wedding. So sweet and so meaningful. I love them mix of sweet moments between mom, dad, and their little and the fun portraits full of personality and smiles. I also love the colors and the pops of fun and energy. I can’t wait to see their second baby!
